First Touch Rugby Tournament in Gumi

The Waegook Cook Touch Rugby Team will be hosting their first Touch Rugby Tournament in Gumi on June 21st.

All teams and supporters are welcome to participate or attend this fun day on the country side just outside Down Town Gumi. The tournament has been rescheduled because many teams couldn't make it for the 7th due to the long weekend.

Please reply to this e-mail and state:

1. Your Team Name
2. How many players and supporters will attend?
3. Are you staying for the band, rugby and party after the prize-giving ?
4. Can you assist as referee, scorer etc ?
5. If you want to join an existing team or if your team needs players
6. If you want to attend as supporter and join the party

There will be buses leaving from Seoul. Barnaby estimated that the cost will be about Won 30 000 per person to be paid by players travelling to Gumi. Teams from other cities should find out and arrange their own team bus or public transport.

The preliminary Fun Program looks something like this:

Registration and Kick Off Time
Registration: 11:30 AM
Kick Off: 12:00 PM

Afternoon

Fierce Rugby Competition with some of the best teams in Korea participating
Cheer Leading team with Renier and the Girls
Hot Dogs, Beer and other snacks available at the field
The buses will be met at Gumi IC and escorted to the field
Transport will be arranged from Waegook Cook to the field for supporters and players not coming here by bus 

Evening

Prize Giving with lots of prizes for players and supporters
Biggest & Meanest Burger & Beer Night
Live Band
SA vs Italy on the Big Screen
Drink & Dance Party

Cost
Tournament Fee: Won 100 000 per team
Hot Dog Barbecue at the Field Won 3 000
Biggest & Best Burger and Fries at Waegook Cook Won 8 000

Free:
Water and beer for players at the field
A pitcher of beer per team at Waegook Cook
Live Entertainment and Games
Lots of Prizes

Beer, Soft Drinks and BBQ Hot Dogs will be sold at the field 

Accommodation and or Shower Facilities are all within walking distance from the evening event at Waegook Cook
